Bergstrom Aircraft Presents Live ATC
11/26/2008: The "Listen Now" link below has been fixed and will now automatically open Windows Media Player and begin playing local aviation frequencies on your computer as the pilots and controllers key their mikes!
It's a great way to get your aviation "fix" while you're stuck behind a desk at work.
LISTEN NOW
Now you can listen to all the local aviation frequencies, anytime, anywhere, live!
NOTE: Because of the way radio works (line of sight), at times you may only hear the pilot side of the conversation.
Currently, the system monitors the following frequencies:
| Clearance Delivery (PSC) | 120.00 MHz |
| Emergency / Guard | 121.50 MHz |
| Ground Control (PSC) | 121.80 MHz |
| Seattle Flight Service Station: Jump-Off-Joe RCO | 122.40 MHz |
| Common Traffic Advisory Frequency (CTAF) Richland (RLD) | 122.70 MHz |
| Common Traffic Advisory Frequency (CTAF) Vista Field (S98) | 122.90 MHz |
| Unicom (PSC) | 122.95 MHz |
| Chinook Departure | 128.75 MHz |
| Seattle Center | 132.60 MHz |
| Chinook Approach | 133.15 MHz |
| Tower / CTAF (PSC) | 135.30 MHz |
There may be periods of silence if no one is transmitting. The best times to listen are early morning, late afternoon, and of course, all weekend when everyone is flying!
Listening to local frequencies is a great way for student pilots to learn proper (and sometimes improper!) radio techniques.
