Justin Wolf
Why are you a CFI?
Primarily because I love flying.
I want more people to be exposed to the joys of flying and the experience of gaining a unique skill.
After gaining experiences in real-world situations and sharing them informally with others, I felt many people, both new to flying and established pilots, could benefit from flying and learning with me in a more formal context.
Biography
I flew out of RHV in the San Francisco Bay Area until 2002.
Before pursuing a career in aviation, I gained 15 years of experience in software development and management in the Silicon Valley.
I prefer fast, cross-country planes; but any plane is better than driving.
Ground School Recommendation
I find that some people benefit from the formal atmosphere of a structured ground school . However, certain types of people get more from one-on-one ground instruction. This also depends on the student's own schedule and timeline.
What Percentage of your Students Pass their Check Ride on the First Try?
My goal is to prepare every student for the check ride and have them pass on their first attempt.
